Abdul Bari asked 4 years agoHello, I got a new client who want to tarnsfer his website to my server, but the problem is this, that his old provider using DirectAdmin control panel, so he asked me to move his website to my server and I am using Cpanel and WHM control panel for my servers, so now I am in trouble and want to know that how I can migrate his website and transfer all the data to my server in running position?
Brandon answered 4 years ago First of all go to public hml folder of your old direct admin account and download the complete files, if there is no zip or compress option then you can use filezilla FTP etc, after downloading all the files just upload all the files to new public html folder in your cpanel created for that site.
If the site has database also, then just go to direct admin > PHP myadmin and download the database to your computer and upload it to your new cpanel account by going to PHPmyAdmin.
and create a new user for that database and give the permissions to that new users for that database.
